Sergio Herra Rodríguez
Sergio specializes in Litigation, Criminal Law and Defense, Corporate Criminal Law, Anti-corruption & Investigations, and Compliance. He has a strong academic background, having completed a PhD in Criminal Law and Compliance at the University of Barcelona with the highest grade possible. Additionally, he holds a Master’s in Advanced Legal Studies with a specialization in Criminal Law from the University of Barcelona, as well as multiple postgraduate qualifications in economic criminal law and compliance. Sergio has also taught law at ULACIT in Costa Rica and lectures on Economic and Business Criminal Law in Quito, Ecuador. He has been a visiting scholar at the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a former visiting researcher at the Max Planck Institute in Germany. Sergio is also a prolific writer, contributing to various academic publications on corporate criminal liability, economic crimes, and compliance.
