John Aguilar Osborne
John Aguilar Osborne is the Founding Partner of Aguilar Castillo Love, specializing in Corporate M&A, Dispute Resolution, Investigations, Corporate Criminal Law and Defense, and Real Estate. With decades of experience, John is a respected figure in Costa `Rica’s legal community, having played a foundational role in the firm’s success and its prominence in Latin American legal markets.
Born in San José, Costa Rica, John was admitted to practice in 1976 as a Public Notary. He holds a Licentiate in Law from the University of Costa Rica (1975). John has also served as a former member of the Board of Directors of the Costa Rican Lawyers Union and has contributed to the development of foreign investment law in Costa Rica with his publication “Costa Rica, Foreign Investment Law.”
