Juan David specializes in Corporate M&A, Employment, Infrastructure, Energy and Natural Resources, Public Law, Regulatory and Compliance, and Tax. He was admitted to practice law in Ecuador in 1992. Juan David holds a Jurisprudence Doctor from Catholic University of Ecuador, an LL.M. in International Tax Program from Harvard Law School, and a Negotiation Workshops Certificate from San Francisco University in Quito, Ecuador. His experience includes serving as a Partner at Pólit & Pólit Abogados, Outside Counsel to the Internal Revenue Service of Ecuador (2000), and Consultant to the World Bank’s Project on Environmental Management in Ecuador (1997-1998). He has also served as Legal Advisor to the Minister of the Environment (1997) and the Minister of Energy and Mines (1996). He has lectured on Negotiation Workshops at San Francisco University, Quito. Juan David is fluent in English and Spanish.
